The purpose of the Foundation is to provide monetary grants and other support to tax-exempt organizations devoted to public and charitable purposes serving the residents of the City of Salinas or the Salinas Valley including, but not limited to, organizations that assist seniors or youth, the agricultural industry, or that promote healthcare or education or animal protection, and any other deserving group as may be determined from time to time at the sole discretion of the Board of Directors.
